Bates Smart are currently in design development for an exciting adaptive re-use of the former First Church of Christ Scientist building, Darlinghurst, Sydney. 

Our brief is to create a single dwelling within the auditorium by inserting a new structure which can be removed at a later date.

MILESTONES `171 COLLINS STREET MELBOURNE

Project Leader Tim Leslie reports on site progress at 171 Collins Street, Melbourne’s first Premium Grade office building in over 20 years, developed in joint venture by Charter Hall Office REIT and Cbus Property. The design is a refined exploration of architectural form in glass and light and we believe it will be one of Australia’s most elegant office towers.

Enterprise 1 is an innovative 10,000 square-metre workplace that allows the University of Wollongong’s collaborative businesses to share a unique campus environment while enjoying direct access to students and graduates.

The new building is set on the Innovation Campus, a 33 hectare research and commercial precinct established by the University to drive partnerships and collaboration between the research and business communities.
